finding my heart

this speaks to my heart

my play toys


venetian pens.
pretty, fragile, treasures.
in my experience,
my glass tips last four to five writings.
less, if the Siamese starts exploring
my art shelves. the cat seems to like
all things shiny.

i am home

the obvious is sometimes invisible to the eye that is looking for the known answer.
the world would teach that a lack of money comes from a lack of work.
i disagree.
